Trigger Timing

Scenario 01

Bootstrap Flux for prod cluster

A platform engineer needs to automate deployments for a production Kubernetes cluster. Using this skill, they bootstrap Flux via CLI, define GitRepository and Kustomization manifests, and commit them to Git. Flux pulls and reconciles state every minute. This removes manual kubectl applies, ensures auditability, and enables one-click rollback by reverting Git commits.

Scenario 02

Manage apps via ArgoCD App of Apps

An SRE wants multi-app management in ArgoCD using App of Apps pattern. They follow the skill to install ArgoCD, create parent Application pointing to a directory of child Apps, and set auto-sync with prune and self-heal. Sync failures alert via notifications. This centralizes control, auto-corrects drift, and scales to dozens of services with clean Git structure.
