What is an Agent Skill?
An Agent Skill is a lightweight, open format for extending AI Agent capabilities. At its core is a folder containing a SKILL.md file that tells the Agent how to complete a specific task.
What does SkillsWay tell me that the README doesn't?
The README tells you what the author wants to say; SkillsWay tells you what to know before installing — the skillset's methodology, each skill's environment and business scenarios, and how skills collaborate. Everything is read statically from SKILL.md files and the directory tree. Nothing fabricated.
Does the analysis modify my repository?
No. SkillsWay only performs static analysis — reading SKILL.md text and directory structure. It does not initiate any write operations or install any dependencies.
How do I install after inspecting?
Every skillset page has a one-line install command (npx skills add …). Copy it into your terminal — skills are copied into your agent's config directory, ready to edit.
