It first ensures an isolated workspace (via using-git-worktrees), then follows each plan step exactly with specified verifications. After completion, it automatically invokes finishing-a-development-branch for test verification and branch finalization.
For novice developers unfamiliar with project structure or tech stack, the executing-plans skill reduces risk by enforcing plan review, step-by-step execution, and verification. When encountering blockers or unclear instructions, it requires stopping to ask rather than guessing. Each step tracks progress status (in_progress/completed), providing clear execution visibility.
