Trigger

Triggered when users request "compliance scan", "security audit", "run azqr", "check Key Vault expiration".

Mechanism

Two assessment types: azqr comprehensive resource assessment (best-practice checks across all resource configs) and Key Vault expiration monitoring.
Workflow: select scope → run azqr → analyze results and summarize findings → check Key Vault expiration → classify issues by priority → propose remediation steps.
Uses MCP tools for azqr scans and Key Vault item checks.
Four-tier priority classification (Critical/High/Medium/Low).

Outcome

Compliance scan report: priority-classified issue list with remediation steps. Key Vault expiration audit output separately.

Scenario 01

Azure Resource Compliance Scanning

Compliance engineers need regular scans of Azure resource configurations against best practices and security policies. The skill runs comprehensive assessment via azqr at subscription or resource group scope, checks configurations, identifies misconfigurations and orphaned resources, generates issue reports classified by severity. Recommended to run weekly or monthly.

Scenario 02

Key Vault Certificate and Secret Expiration Audit

Security admins need to audit expiration status of all Key Vault keys, certificates, and secrets. The skill lists all Key Vault items, checks expiration dates, identifies expired items (red), items expiring within 30 days (yellow), and items without expiration. Helps teams act before certificate expiration to prevent service outages.
