Use Cases
A team deployed an ADK agent to Agent Runtime and wants to register it to their Gemini Enterprise app. Using this skill, they run agents-cli publish with the app ID; metadata auto-detection fills the runtime ID and ADK type. The agent becomes natively invocable, saving manual config and avoiding errors in enterprise onboarding.
In a CI/CD pipeline, a Cloud Run agent is registered to Gemini Enterprise via non-interactive agents-cli publish with env vars and --registration-type a2a. The skill enables safe automated registration on each deploy, ensuring the agent card URL is fetched and the app stays updated without human intervention.
